The Little Yellow Door Closes

A wise philosopher once said “all good things come to an end” – or Nelly Furtado, definitely one of the two, but either way truer words could be not be the case for the closing of Little Yellow Door. The popular bar will be closing its doors after 14 successful months which saw countless house parties, retro gaming nights, kitchen suppers, Thursday takeovers, supper clubs and much more.

They will be going out in typical LYD style with 3 more months of old fashioned partying before they actually close up shop plus they will see the eccentric addition of Maximillian Fothergill-Stewart Esq AKA Mad Max, who will be hosting the final house party. Mad Max will also be the inspiration for the newest food and drinks menu, with bar snacks such as Rarebit with Oxford Marmalade Chutney and Glazed Walnuts and The Chip Shop: Fried Fish Butty with Crushed Peas, Pickled Cucumber and Tartar Sauce.

It may be the end of an era at 68 Notting Hill Gate, but when one yellow door closes a blue may open…#WatchThisSpace
