We’ve waved goodbye to Halloween, seen as many fireworks as we could possibly cram into the weekend, and now seen our first of the ‘major’ Christmas adverts, which means it’s official – the countdown to Christmas is in full swing. However reluctant we may have been at the start of October, you can’t really argue with the festive spirit when you realise that Christmas Day is exactly 6 weeks today.
Rosewood London is launching their Christmas festivities at the end of November (so if you can’t think Christmas until December this is for you) with a Christmassy spin on their weekly ‘Slow food’ market selling seasonal produce and celebrating artisans and local growers. Rather than endless stalls of candyfloss and sickly mulled wine, Rosewood are ensuring this isn’t your average Christmas market with organic mulled wine, raw hot chocolate and freshly-roasted chestnuts so you won’t have to worry about hyper children running around (children are very welcome here). In addition to the 30 stalls, workshops are there to be enjoyed so practice your raw snack making and brush up on your wreath making before heading inside to the Holborn Dining Room, Scarfes Bar or Mirror Room for food and wine using Slow ingredients.
Rosewood London’s Christmas Slow Food & Living Market runs from 29th November – 20th December, 10am – 3.30pm at 252 High Holborn, London WC1V 7EN
