Brown’s Hotel’s ‘Not So Dry January’

We at The Handbook like people that do their own thing, write their own story, lead their own path, so while everyone around you may be clutching to bottles of juice as they try to cleanse their weakened liver, we say to hell with that! And so does Brown’s Hotel as they have created a trio of absolutely not alcohol-free ‘Dry Cocktails’ available throughout January.

The drinks comprise of Dry Cooler blends Aperol, soda water and Galanti Prosecco Extra with a dry citrus roundel garnish, Dry Dry Baby, Petit Chablis, soda and lemon and grapefruit bitters served over ice. Last on the menu is the Churchill Martini, served in the same specific way that our most famous Prime Minister required. All are served in the Donovan Bar where customers can also bring any left-over booze from the festive season into the bar where for £5 the Bar Manager, Giovanni Cassino and Head Bartender, Riccardo Vecchio will create a bespoke cocktail for you. This service will be provided every Sunday-Wednesday from 5pm throughout January.

And if anyone judges you for not following the crowd of Dry January, just gently remind them that the liver regenerates itself and alcohol detoxes are a myth – cheers!
