What did you do for your second birthday? Can you even remember your second birthday more like? We’ll hazard a guess at pass the parcel, too much sugar and tantrums. It definitely wasn’t like Dirty Bones Kensington 2nd birthday which is coming up, that’s for sure.

Happening this Thursday they are celebrating two years of cocktails, American comfort food and tunes with The Dirty Double birthday party. The night will start with a present from them to you, in form of a complimentary ‘Forgot to blow out the candles’ birthday cocktail followed by new dishes. Start with beef short rib mac balls with chipotle and lime dip; charred padron peppers in citrus gaze and hot wings in a house made Louisiana-style hot sauce. Mains includes the like of chicken and waffles with a shot of maple syrup, flat iron steak and The Clobster. What is The Clobster you ask? It’s fresh lobster, leek, cheese sauce, fish roe and celery cress on toasted brioche. That’s what it is.

To finish there won’t be Iced Gems and Party Rings, there’ll be the chef’s latest Crunchie served with white chocolate gelato. And there won’t be any magicians or guys making balloon animals, instead they’ll be performances from a live band and a set from DJ Mikey.

Happy Birthday Dirty Bones!

The Dirty Double is taking place at Dirty Bones Kensington on Thursday 4th February from 6pm until late, with party + tasting menu tickets priced at just £25pp. Tickets can be booked by emailing: kensington@dirty-bones.com.
