Everyone loves a good curry, but with summer fast-approaching, suddenly the thought of heavy foods rapidly loses its appeal. We all want to be beach-body ready, but then again; curry. Some like it hot (some not), but whatever your preference, it’s at this time of year a good old take-away really starts to take its toll. But what if you could enjoy your favourite cuisine without the guilt? Luckily for you, Indian-cooking goddess, Mira Manek makes this possible for a one-night supper club experience at 108 Pantry, Marylebone. Serving up an incredible vegetarian, gluten- and dairy-free nine course Indian feast, Manek is a pioneer, changing the face of Indian food in Britain. Forget rich sauces, oily rice and chewy meat that we’re used to (partially thanks to the British take on it); it’s time to treat yourself and your tummy to a nutritious and delicious Indian banquet that will make you feel beautiful inside and out.
Mira has spent her life perfecting her craft, taking traditional Indian cooking and turning on it’s head; exchanging ingredients for others that lift the dishes but still maintain their original spice. Manek prides herself on creating authentic Indian cuisine with bold flavours that remind her of home, but serving food is also bursting with nutritious goodness. So stop saying you can’t and start saying you can. Things are heating up at and it’s alright for you to get curried away! Yes, that was a pun.
Mira’s Feast at 108 Pantry is taking place on Wednesday 27th April at 7pm, 108 Pantry, 108 Marylebone Lane, W1U 2QE.
