Another day, another gin terrace opening. Yes, summer is truly upon us as bars all across the city put away the outdoor heaters, fold up their blankets and order in their countless crates of the capital’s favourite spirit.
Camino Bankside are no exception to this rule, and come June 9th they’ll be transforming their terrace into a Spanish-inspired gin-haven, with terracotta tones, patterned tiles and the all-important gin bar transporting guests out of London and into the sun of the Med.
Worried a simple gin and tonic may get a little boring after a while? Fear not! The Gin Garden will be serving up 6 select gins and tonics with a range of inventive garnishes to ensure that “samey” never becomes an issue, and as anyone who’s been to Spain will be aware, when the Spanish do a G&T they do it grande-sized.
Of course, gin won’t be the only thing on offer, and Head Chef Nacho de Campo will be making the most of the space to host a series of cooking and cocktail masterclasses, including a paella masterclass, a G&T masterclass and even an evening of gin pairings.
So if you’re a lover of gin, Spain or even just the sun, get down to Camino Bankside’s gin garden and bask in the glory of the Mediterranean.
