Everyone likes the launch of a new bar, but what about the launch of a floating bar? That’s right a bar floating in a lake the middle of Clapham Common.
Brought to you by Campo Viejo, the Lake of Colour is all about bringing people together across the country and what better way to do that than over wine? You’ll be immersed in all things Rioja, with wine blending, tapas and live music – but it’s only around for four days so make sure you cancel any plans you have currently, the date can wait.
They’ll be hosting Blend Your Own Wine masterclasses too and you’re not going to want to miss these as they’re not offered outside of any other wineries in the world, exactly, it’s an exclusive. Fans of BBC 6 Music are likely to recognise the sound of The Fontanas who will be performing live sets daily, whilst the Spanish Lab will be serving up Spanish tapas which you can wash down with a Campo Viejo’s first ever Viura-Tempranillo Blanco 2015.
So grab a bunch of your pals, celebrate summer and have a glass of wine or two…or three.
Campo Viejo’s Lake of Colour runs 9th -12th June on Clapham Common.

A bit of a cake connoisseur, Editor, Emily is constantly on the search for the best brownie London has to offer, a restaurant once even put them on the menu when they heard she was visiting… You’ll either find her on a night out or debriefing over brunch the next day with plenty of coffee and eggs.
