One of the best parts of summer is the fact that when you leave the office it’s still light. The sun is (hopefully) still shining and that means one thing, you can make the most of London’s terraces for after work drinks and we know where we’ll be heading next: The Secret Garden at Four Seasons.
Why? Because they’ve just launch their Veuve Clicquot RICH bar. Decked out in Veuve Clicquot umbrellas and cushions, the terrace (which is one of a kind in Mayfair) is filled with an array of begonias, clematis, salvias and scented jasmine – it’s all very Instagrammable. Created to drink served over ice you’ll be able to sip the new Champagne with different garnishes – it goes well with Earl Grey tea, celery and grapefruit but we recommend trying it with pineapple and yellow pepper.
Executive Chef Romuald Feger has created a summer menu of light dishes to accompany, which includes the likes of burrata di andria with Isle of Wight heritage tomato, wild seabass carpaccio from Cornwall, indulgent Portland crab tortellini with lobster jus and courgette and dry-aged beef sirloin tagliata with wild arugula and Parmesan.
Now we just have to count down the hours until we leave the office…
The Secret Garden is open daily 12pm -11pm and operates a no-booking policy.
