Back in deepest, darkest January, Sanderson worked with nutritionist Karen Cummings-Parker for the second year to create a menu to nourish our vitamin D-deprived bodies and, as they run their Wellbeing Package, this time around it’s all about getting ourselves ready for summer. The full package includes a treatment in the spa, an expert health consultation, healthy breakfast and, of course, a hotel stay to ensure you leave a new person – no dull, city skin or stressed frame of mind.
Nutritionally turbo-charged foods on the Wellbeing menu include a frothy matcha green tea to boost metabolism, seaweed ‘super salad’ to give you glowing skin and protein-packed Teff probiotic bowl, available via room service and in the hotel’s agua Spa to add a touch of luxury. In addition to having created the menu, Karen will be on hand to offer health consultations in the spa as well as follow up Skype sessions to check you are staying on track. If you think Karen would approve of your diet and the culprit for your dull skin is pollution then you’ll want to book in with Annee de Mamiel (agua Spa’s new resident) for her 60 minute ‘de Mamiel Elixir Experience’ which will brighten the even the dullest of complexions. In a space so pure and white you will feel relaxed the minute you walk in, let alone 60 minutes later.
The Wellbeing Package at Sanderson is available until 31st August
