Going outside with the turbulent weather may seem unappealing at the moment but when it finally sorts itself out we have just the place to head to. Sea Containers at Mondrian London on the South Bank is launching their Hamptons inspired summer terrace today where guests can partake in some al fresco dining whilst overlooking the Thames.
The plant filled terrace will have a Hamptons’ beach club feel to it with white picket fencing, a wooden decked seating area and retractable sunshades. Guests will be able to sip on plenty of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and rosé wine well into the night when the terrace will be filled with festoon lighting and candles that will lend a soft glow to the space, cosy blankets and terrace heating will keep any chills at bay.
The menu will be divided into a full dining menu to one side and a more casual, bespoke Lobster Shack to the other side. The new terrace menu from the Sea Containers restaurant will champion a variety of seafood dishes like clay baked lobster (half or whole) and poached shrimp salad while the Lobster Shack menu will feature lobster rolls, ceviche tacos and seasonal oysters, also available for take-away.
