The sun is finally out in London and the heatwave has begun which means there is no excuse to not be outdoors. We know the heat can often bring extremes, whether it makes you come alive and ready to take on the world or knackered and impatient. The latter would be understandable as there have already been hour-long delays on the overground and closures on the tube due to overcrowding. Classic London. We can all agree though that there is nothing better than getting off work and enjoying a change from the cold and rain.

Thankfully, there are plenty of rooftop terraces and parks to go and soak up the sun, but we have got another option for those who may be looking to do something different. How does a throwback film, a bag of popcorn, and a glass of bubbly sound? The Bluebird Chelsea is offering just that with their Outdoor Summer Cinema Series. Whilst the series has been running throughout the summer, the time and weather are perfect to properly enjoy movie night. The final films that will be on for this series are a couple of fan favourites, this Wednesday you can catch Romeo and Juliet and next week get ready for Dirty Dancing!

Escape the cold darkness of the cinema and enjoy a warm day with a timeless film. Fun doesn’t have to be reserved for indoors or the weekend!

Outdoor Summer Cinema Series continues Wednesday 27th July at 7:30pm at Bluebird Chelsea in the Courtyard. Ends 21st August 2016. Book online in advance.
