Cockails on the Roof at Ham Yard Hotel

There are several things that Italians just do better than the rest of us. The obvious ones of course being the likes of pizza, pasta and sports cars. Even more so do the Italians also know how to make the most of their leisure time. As Londoners, we far too often are constantly rushing from one place to the next that even when we do have a spare moment to relax we find it borderline impossible. However, Ham Yard Hotel is gathering inspiration from our Italian friends and giving even us city slickers the opportunity to enjoy some much overdo R&R.

Ham Yard Hotel will be opening up their roof-top bar once again this summer, drawing inspiration from the traditional Italian aperitivo culture as cocktail drinkers can gather their friends in the early evenings and bask in the glory of summer on the hotel’s leafy rooftop terrace. Each of the eight featured cocktails are centered around the produce harvested right there on the roof terrace, which is usually reserved strictly for guests only, and incorporate vermouth with homemade recipes. During the pop-up, guests will also have the opportunity to join experts from around the world in one of four masterclasses offered and munch on delicious antipasti dishes.

In addition, Ham Yard Hotel’s roof garden is spilling over with blooming meadow flowers, ancient olive trees and raised herb beds, making it the perfect setting to watch the sun go down and sip on summer evening cocktails. E’ perfetto!

‘Vermouth on the Roof’ will run from Tuesday 26th July until Sunday 4th September (excluding Mondays).
