Sometimes you want to go a restaurant but you just don’t want to leave your house. You want the food, but you don’t want to have to dress up and pitching up in your PJs is just not going to be an option.

Or perhaps you’re hosting a dinner party, you’ve told everyone that of course you can cook and what started out as carbonara you’ve now elaborated on so much you’re apparently going to rustle up something worthy of the MasterChef final…good one.

So what do you do when you find yourself in one of these situations? You order a Goose Box of course. Created by Soren Jessen, founder of 1 Lombard Street the boxes come with all the ingredients needed to create the modern European signature dishes and seasonal favourites that you’d find at the restaurant. Everything is pre-measured, pre-sealed and comes from the same suppliers that the restaurant uses. They won’t just leave you in the lurch either as the boxes include recipe cards and links to how to videos so you know exactly when to add the final spice.

So for starters you can rustle up crab parcels with lobster bisque or pear and manchego salad with truffle, honey and hazelnuts before moving on to main courses such as grilled pork chop with Provençal vegetables and scallops and prawns with chilli jam. You can also add in dessert, cheese and petit fours – your dinner party is going to be on point.
