The days are beginning to warm up and the sun is finally starting to peer through the clouds right about the time summer’s end is looming eerily ahead, so it is only natural to want to spend every second of our rare but much-loved steamy summer days outdoors. Perhaps even take a small getaway from the fast-paced and strenuous lifestyle customary of us city dwellers and sip on an Aperol spritz on the coast of somewhere far away. Well don’t book your plane tickets just yet, as Italian ristorante Sartoria is taking advantage of the delectable sunshine and is bringing all of this and more right to London.

Savile Row’s only terrace will be dishing out delicious cicchetti (small plates) such as nutmeg cheese puffs, pan brioches with Grana Padano mousse with onion jam and rustici with apricot honey. As for the drinks, Aperol is taking centre stage for those long summer days with the classic Aperol Spritz, the Aperol Spring Cup and the Aperol Summer Cup. However if Aperol isn’t exactly your cup of tea, opt for the new negroni menu featuring five twists on this classic Campari serve. Guests can sip on a classic negroni or one with an added twist such as the Japanese Negroni with plum sake, the Libare Negroni mixed with pomegranite juice and Campari bitter-infused lemongrass or the Negroni Sbagliato, topped with prosecco.  

However, guests are not limited to small plates and cocktails. Head over to the terrace and enjoy your morning cappuccino with a view, pop over for a relaxing lunch hour or enjoy Sartoria’s full la carte under the stars. The rooftop alone houses a heated terrace, destination bar, cicchetti counter, two private dining rooms and a wine cellar, along with a brand new design inspired by head chef Francesco Mazzei’s home region of Calabria and the surrounding areas of Italy. As if you needed another reason to head to Mayfair.
