We’re all about making the most of our days, especially at the moment whilst we eke out the last few weeks of summer before it’s dark when we wake up and dark when we go home. Great.
So shake up your morning routine. You could go to that restaurant you’ve been meaning to try for ages but haven’t had the chance to, for breakfast. Or you could go to the park for that boot camp or just get up half an hour early to actually finish that book you’ve been reading for the last couple of months. You could do any of those things and we recommend them all. Or you know what you could do? You could party on a boat.
Yep that’s right, parties don’t just have to be for the evening and one advocate of that is Daybreaker. The morning dance party will you get out of bed earlier than the gym goers, to go and welcome in the day by hitting the dance floor aboard the Dixie Queen. Their next event is taking place on the 31st August and will see revellers step aboard the boat-anical garden which will sail down the Thames before docking up at 8am in time for the commute. They’ve teamed up with Seedlip, the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit, to bring you non-alcoholic healthy cocktails as well as providing breakfast treats, goodie bags, live performances from the house band Brass Stacks and free massages! Certainly beats waking up in a rush because you’ve hit the snooze button too many times. Get ready for a morning like no other and get ready to walk into the office ready to crush it.
Daybreaker takes place on 31st August on board The Dixie Queen, setting off from Tower Millennium Pier Lower Thames Street, EC3N 4DT

A bit of a cake connoisseur, Editor, Emily is constantly on the search for the best brownie London has to offer, a restaurant once even put them on the menu when they heard she was visiting… You’ll either find her on a night out or debriefing over brunch the next day with plenty of coffee and eggs.
