Free Cabaret, Comedy and Music with Live at Zedel
Weekends in London don’t come cheap. Post-work drinks, Saturday brunch, some kind of day out then probably dinner in the evening. Not to mention another brunch on Sunday and maybe a cinema trip keep the Sunday blues at bay. What if we were to tell you that next weekend will be a whole lot cheaper thanks to Soho’s Brasserie Zédel? Listen up.

Known for its live entertainment, Zédel is hosting a whole weekend of music, theatre, cabaret and comedy – and it’s absolutely free to attend. Taking place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September, the weekend is marking the launch of Live At Zédel, a new series of performance and entertainment with everyone from the Philharmonic Orchestra (20th September) to Grace Dent, taking part in Food Week (24th September). Think of it as a preview and you’re invited. Masterchef judge and restaurant critic Jay Rayner is hosting the Saturday which will see musicians and three shows throughout the evening from names you might recognise including Cath Tyldesley and Anne Reid as well as up and coming talent and young jazz musicians performing in the foyer. Replacing your Sunday cinema trip will be a day of theatre and cabaret with a performance from drag girl group DENIM and much more.

A weekend of culture and a happy credit card? Winner.

Free Weekend as Live at Zédel, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September. Full programme online.
