It seems to us like August may, in fact, be the worst month ever. Summer is almost over , there are no holidays the entire month (work, work, work), and to top it all off, Good Ship Benefit is coming to a close after five months of glitzy restaurants, on board boutiques and free-flowing prosecco. But don’t pout just yet, as the Good Ship is promising that the last month is sure to be the best month.
The Good Ship is taking it up a notch for its final month, partnering with the original outdoor cinema Rooftop Film Club to bring guests the best retro chick flicks on the al fresco, Hawaii-inspired Hoola Decks. In addition, the girl heaven is also offering guests nights of BeneBingo, al fresco yoga, bottomless brunch and a brand new ‘illusionary’ afternoon tea. BeneBingo is located in the Brow Lounge and is hosted by comedian Dolly Slateman, to make you feel good as well as look good. Additionally, beginning 2nd August, Funny Women and Benefit Cosmetics are teaming up to bring a sneak preview of funnywoman Ayesha Hazarika’s new material as she warms up for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
On Saturday mornings, pop down for a bit of hula-hooping and enjoy a fun weekend workout with your besties. Sundays are kicked off in a similar fashion with hour-long yoga classes. And if all that’s still not enough, Benefit is celebrating National Afternoon Tea Week with an illusionary afternoon tea featuring an afternoon of sorcery and potion in the Brow Lounge as they pour some tea with a twist. With sweet sandwiches, truffle macarons and mini courgette cakes, this bewitching mix of treats will be sure to satisfy your senses.
Make sure to grab your gal pals and head over before the ship (and summer) has floated away!
The Good Ship Benefit is docked until 31st August. Ticket price includes entry, a complimentary glass of Pimms, Tyrrells Poshcorn and 10% off Benefit products.
