It’s hard to believe it’s already August, but summer in London is only half way through. Whilst the heatwave has come and gone, the rain is clearing out and the summer festivities are able to continue. The best thing about summer is having options: what to wear, where to go, and what to do. Now, Richmond, Clapham, Chiswick and Chelsea will be able to enjoy a true taste of summer. No 11 Pimlico RoadNo 32 The Old TownNo 1 Duke Street, and No 197 Chiswick Fire Station are carrying an impassioned new drinks and food menu created by in house bartenders and executive chef Simon Duff. Using a wide array of fresh and locally sourced ingredients, the summer menu aims to create a more homely atmosphere as we all know sometimes London can be a little stark.

The collection of neighbourhood bars offer a relaxed, all-day dining experience from Monday to SundayThe small and sharing menu provides the perfect light bites with a new addition of fresh chilled green gazpacho accompanied with burrata as well as a brand new selection of crostini toppings from fresh crab to whipped goats cheese. Sunday from noon, the popular Sunday roasts will be served summer style for a warming and comforting taste of home. For those craving a nostalgic taste of British midsummer, opt for the potted ham hock on warm toast or selection of British cheeses. There is also no disappointment in the pudding menu with options like melon sorbet, nectarine crumble, or treacle meringue and vanilla ice cream.

The drinks menu offers a rich cocktail selection. You can enjoy a lavender rob roy made with a house-made lavender honey syrup and lagavulin, served cold and straight up, or the rose sour made with Professor Cornelius Ampleforth sloe gin, dry vermouth, lemon juice and house-made honey rose syrup-just to name a couple. The house favourite bloody Mary, elderflower and earl grey fizz or the classic bellini can accompany any of the all day brunch offerings, whether it be the breakfast blueberry ricotta pancakes or avocado cheese toasty. Not to mention, a range of local craft and international beers and lagers with a well-considered wine selection are available in all four locations.

The British weather can do its worst if it likes, we’ll still have the taste of summer!
