Luxury accompanied by bliss and coated with decadence. That’s the only way to describe the La Parisienne Style Services Sofitel London St James has unveiled in honour of its French heritage, coinciding with the La Parisienne photography exhibition – a collection of 32 photographs of some of the world’s most glamorous and iconic women from the 1950s to the present day, displayed in the hotel until November and accessible by guests and non-guests, free of charge. Alongside the exhibition (which will go on to tour Sofitel hotels around the world) the hotel has created a collection of stylish, Parisian inspired experiences in partnership with Ella Catliff, founding editor of fashion and lifestyle blog, ‘La Petite Anglaise’.

Exclusive to guests staying at Sofitel London St James, the La Parisienne Style Service will tie in with the start of Paris Fashion Week. The in-room services, spa treatments and limited edition menus, (oh and complimentary fashion illustrations by the talented Willa Gebbie for guests and visitors during the first week) are ingrained with glamour and indulgence. Personal styling by style gurus handpicked by Elle include celebrity personal shopper Gabrielle Teare and the expert hands at Paul Edmonds London hair salon. The pampering continues with spa treatments in the hotel’s SoSPA, including an oriental dream massage using products from style icon Marisa Berenson’s range. Food and drinks wise, guests and non-guests can soak in the elegance of The St James Bar with a Cointreau cocktail inspired by Coco Chanel’s 1920s apartment or take afternoon tea in the Rose Lounge – all this is just the beginning of the immersive trip into French elegance.

Inspired by the style and enchantment of the exhibition, Sofitel London St James will envelop you in Parisian glamour – which every Londoner is trying to achieve, whether we care to admit it or not.

La Parisienne by Sofitel is opening at Sofitel London St James from 27th September until 17th November.
