It’s time to up our breakfast game. No matter how many articles we read and healthy recipe books we flick through we never actually get round to making a batch of that healthy granola we’ve bookmarked so, more often than not, resort to a boring bowl of porridge at our desk each morning. Not to say we’re unhealthy, but sometimes life gets in the way of all our quinoa, spirulina and matcha dreams – this is where Sanderson step in.

Undoubtedly one of London’s most stylish hotels, Sanderson has recruited the expertise of Danielle Copperman, health blogger, model and name behind quinoa based breakfast brand, Qnola, which is now stocked in Selfridges Food Hall, Planet Organic and Detox Kitchen to name but a few. Throughout September (aka fashion month), Danielle’s Wake Up Well breakfast will be served at the hotel; think a seasonal berry and watermelon smoothie bowl, poached eggs with beetroot sauerkraut and plenty of drinks to pack a punch first thing in the morning; basil tea, beetroot latte and an intriguingly named iced magic mushroom latte. All dishes on the menu are free from gluten, grains, dairy and refined sugar. The menu is available until 30th September, with Danielle hosting a one-off breakfast and meditation session on Tuesday 27th for guests and non-guests of the hotel. Nutritionist, counsellor and chef, Nicky Clinch will be co-hosting the event with both women sharing nutrition advice they’ve learned on their journeys as well as breakfast from the Wake Up Well menu.
