Think of Argentina and no doubt two things spring to mind; football and beef. And although these prevalent associations are an innate part of the culture, there are so many other aspects that define it. That’s where Wines of Argentina comes in as they are presenting Barullo, a celebration of cutting-edge Argentina.
This four-day event will be an enlightening exploration of the finest of vibrant Argentine culture, with plenty to please all your senses. As Wines of Argentina are the presenters it’ll come as no surprise that there will be an extensive showcase of Argentina’s dynamic wine scene. There will be the opportunity to sample a hand-picked selection of over 40 wines from the country’s most revolutionary wine-makers.
And what better way to compliment fine wine than fine food… and it will be fine. Barullo will be providing 2-star Michelin cuisine from Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco and his restaurant Mirazur, ranked the 6th best in the world.
As you will’ve realised, Barullo is going the whole nine yards, and that continues with the next aspect of contemporary Argentina; art. Buenos Aires Barro Gallery will be transported to Hoxton, curating the space with pieces from some of Argentina’s most celebrated artists.
And it wouldn’t be a celebration without music, so that’s covered as well. Live music will come from Coiffeur and Ibiza Pareo, two acts setting the scene in Buenos Aires.
There’s a lot more going on in Argentina than springs to mind, and there’s no better opportunity to discover that than at Barullo.
Barullo will running from the 25-28th October at JJ Studios in Hoxton.
