Think of the circumstance in which your are most at bliss, comfortable and unequivocally happy. We’ve got it…you’re standing in an alpine chalet with a litre of bier in one hand and a large bratwurst in the other. Thought so. It’s a damn shame that the opportunity to be in such a desirable position is hard to come by. This weekend however, Hoxtoberfest offers you the chance to do just that.
Here’s the set-up; the inaugural Hoxtoberfest will be creating a multi-room Bavarian extravaganza within a block of canal side yards and warehouses at Hoxton Docks. A full sized alpine chalet will be constructed at the HoxtonDocks Timber Warehouse sheltering you from the outside elements. While the main warehouse will be designed like a traditional Oktoberfest tent and will act as the live music space. Forming the entertainment will be the Albfetza Oktoberfest Partyband, who’ll be playing with the Old Dirty Brasstards.
Now to the iconography; beer and sausage! Providing the liquid for intoxication is Erdinger and Berliner, whose amber nectar can be flowing into your stein with exciting regularity. And serving up the cylinders of pork straight from the bratwurst grill will be the legendary Herman Ze German. And if that wasn’t enough, Fritz Cola will be hosting a Berlin cocktail bar.
Large beer + large sausages + good music = great time!
Hoxtoberfest will be running from the 20th – 22nd October.
