Just because we no longer have our toes out every day and our skin isn’t quite as exposed as it was in summer doesn’t mean you should skip the pedicures and pampering completely. Just replace the spray tan with a mud mask and settle in to Mondrian London’s brand new SPA Social event.
The monthly event sits somewhere in between girls night, Friday drinks and an after-work gym session; it’s socialising meets a great night in. Fun and relaxing, the spa team at Mondrian have created a mix of treatments which are all available as you and a group of friends enjoy exclusive use of the agua Bathouse and Spa area. The design of the spa meets up with the cool feel of the rest of the hotel but replacing the pinks, greens and purples is a serene colour palette of white and natural tones, ready and waiting to ease away stress and tension but in a slightly more fun environment than your standard silent spa. Guests can apply white silica mud packs in the steam rooms before letting them wash away to reveal beautiful skin underneath the warm rain showers.
Swapping the bar lounge with the spa lounge, the rest of the evening is yours to catch up with your friends whilst the heavenly hands of the spa team give 10-minute head, neck and shoulder massages. Yes, it’s all about health and wellbeing but let’s face it, if you were meeting up with a friend you’d probably go for a glass or two after work and maybe some tapas once you realise you’ve not eaten since lunch but we all know that’s not the healthiest option. Here, each guest gets not one but two glasses of Skinny Champagne as well as a nourishing dinner from Sea Containers so you can skip the guilt. Besides, there’s always the award-winning Dandelyan bar waiting for you if 9.30pm comes around and you still haven’t discussed your most recent Tinder experience… Friends, food, bubbles and massages; sounds pretty perfect to us.
SPA Social at Mondrian London’s agua Bathouse and Spa takes place each month, the next event is on Tuesday 18th October followed by 15th November and 13th December. Call 020 3747 1010 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
