Frogs are probably not the first things you think of when you think of Christmas, but trust us when we say Adam Handling’s restaurant The Frog E1 is as festive as can be. Decorations adorn the newly refurbished terrace, a perfect setting for you to enjoy the various Christmas drinks and festive 3-course menu.
The menu is pretty traditional but if it ain’t broke…still, Handling is known for his contemporary and innovative style of cooking so you can expect an exciting twist on the dishes. Choose from salmon, peas, sweet and sour wasabi or ham hock, pineapple and parmesan to start, followed by turkey and all the trimmings. You could end with a Christmas pudding but if you’re feeling adventurous you could go for yuzu, white chocolate and whisky. Great news if you’ve got a large group coming to the restaurant (6+), because The Frog will gift you a bottle of prosecco, and that is always welcome (don’t worry, smaller groups will still receive a complimentary glass). Don’t forget about the mulled wine and the various festive cocktails e.g. Nutcracker Sweet too.
Treat your foodie friends to the exclusive Christmas hamper put together by Handling himself. It will include a signed copy of his first cook book as well as a bottle of his artisanal olive oil and gin. We will be taking one of those please.
