With Christmas fast approaching, London has undergone a transformation and opening this season is the Courtyard at Bluebird. They’ve employed award winning florists McQueens to cover the courtyard with frosty white blooms, turning it into a fairy tale-like dreamland.
In London, you need not turn too far for a mulled wine and mince pie, but why not accompany that with the voices of the children from Cameron House School who’ll be singing carols, getting you into the festive spirit. Enjoy this all while wrapped in luxurious lambswool blankets, and choosing from the various other cocktails on the winter warmer menu – maybe a hot espresso martini or a Pimm’s winter punch.
While drinking and eating are undoubtedly excellent Christmas activities, constructing and decorating gingerbread houses and biscuits is a pretty great activity too. This Christmas, take your little ones along to Bluebird for decorating classes and watch those artists grow as they put their mark on gingerbread houses and reindeer biscuits.
The newly refurbished restaurant is the perfect spot to host a drinks party, client lunch or gathering with friends. Treat your guests to a ‘Mince Pie in a Manger’ cocktail, made from toffee vodka, Mozart chocolate and amaretto liqueur, muddled with fresh clementines and served with a homemade mince pie, whilst they admire the ‘kissmass’ tree, which has been designed for Bluebird by lifestyle boutique Baar & Bass.
New Year’s Eve comes around pretty quickly once Christmas is over, and if you’re stuck for plans, or even if you’re not, Bluebird have you sorted. Start the day with a brunch. Indulge in a 5-course meal designed by Executive Chef Liam Smith-Laing, getting you ready for a night Champagne-fuelled dancing to Bluebird’s resident DJ and live band.
