Christmess! at The Vaults

Christmess! at The Vaults

The weather is getting colder, the days are getting shorter, but that can mean only one thing – Christmas is nearing! You’re going to start eating more carbs, gymming less and drinking more…or maybe that’s just us. You could say it’s more Christmess than Christmas, pop -up supper club Slap Ya Papa certainly think so as they have teamed up with event producers Marble & Ware Collective to create Christmess!

Inspired by the soul food and culture of Louisiana, Slap Ya Papa promise decadent feasts – think candied yams and truffled sprouts, accompanied with deliciously naughty cocktails and delectable fine wines. Discover the secret absinthe bar and then head to the dancefloor, now is the time to show off your dance skills (whether you have them or not). You can also visit Santa at his grotto and find out if you’re in for a treat or if you’re due a lump of coal.

You’ve no need to worry about Christmas shopping too because each weekend, Marble & Ware will host a ‘bizarre bazaar’ where independent artisan traders will have their wares on offer. The daytime schedule also boasts comedy shows, spoken word performances and of course, live music. Nothing says Christmas like a good roast dinner,  and so finish your weekend in style with roast dinners designed by award winning chef Andy Duncan of Hatchetts Mayfair.

The Victorian railway arches are set to be transformed into a whole new eccentric magical world with playful characters immersing us all into the experience. There is no better way to celebrate this season of indulgence and debauchery.

Christmess! launches on 24th November at The Vaults for a four week run.
