After Christmas Comes Twixmas

After Christmas Comes Twixmas

Are you celebrating Twixmas this year? No, we do not mean sitting around eating bar after bar of those much loved chocolate covered biscuits wrapped in gold foil. We’re referring to the period between Christmas and New Year; the word Twixmas comes from the old English word ‘betwixt’ meaning between.

There’s no point kidding yourself – that diet is definitely not beginning until January, so celebrate Twixmas at The Arch London’s restaurant Hunter 486. Expect dishes like truffle oil rare beef salad; baked goat’s cheese with honey and thyme reduction; and roast beef or chickens with all the trimmings. You’ll be ending the dinner on a sugar high because puddings on offer include chocolate fondant with burnt orange ice cream and sticky toffee pudding with caramelised banana ice cream. And no, after this you probably won’t be reaching for those Twixes in your Christmas Celebrations box!

Hunter 486 will be serving the Twixmas menu from 27th December-8th January 2017
