Cult Christmas Movies Debut at Boxpark

Cult Christmas Movies Debut at Boxpark

Christmas = family, food and films. There really is nothing more joyous than settling down to a classic Christmas film with a plate piled high full of good food, surrounded by your loved ones.

This festive season, Big Screen Beach Events are taking over Boxpark Croydon, hosting a 3 day indoor film screening event. They’ll be kicking off the event with a screening of Polar Express, a heartwarming tale detailing a young boy’s adventurous journey to the North Pole. The following day will see the screening of old time classic Home Alone – a synopsis is hardly necessary. Finally, the event will end with a screening of Elf, a film which never fails to bring families together but again, no synopsis necessary. As a special Christmas treat, the screenings are completely free, just reserve yourself a deckchair and you’re set for the evening.

Of course you’ll want something to nibble on during the screenings, luckily, Boxpark Croydon boasts a selection of over 35 food and drink vendors. With things like bao (Taiwanese steamed buns), Indian street food and Lebanese street food on offer, you’ll definitely be wanting to save the Turkey for Christmas Day itself.

Reserve those deckchairs, and gather your family for an evening of Christmas joy.

BoxPark Croydon’s free family films will be shown Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st December
