Film and Fizz

Film and Fizz

Coming soon to a screen near you, or near Covent Garden should we say, is Film and Fizz. One Aldwych hotel in Covent Garden have teamed up Curzon Cinemas to bring you a season of film screenings (with many of the films still being on general release).

The hotel will be screening new films like Nocturnal Animals and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as all time favourites like Notting Hill in their 30-seat theatre. As the name of the event suggests, guests will be treated to a glass of Champagne Lallier Grande Réserve and also a 3-course meal in the hotel’s Indigo restaurant in addition to the film showing itself.

Executive Chef of Indigo, Dominic Teague, has curated special menus for the event, with dishes celebrating British cuisine whilst all coincidentally being gluten and dairy free. Guests can expect roasted Orkney scallop with roast carrot purée and crispy chicken skin; Rhug Estate tenderloin of pork with celeriac, glazed apple and hazelnuts; and Valrhona chocolate mousse with preserved cherries and pistachio meringue. Popcorn may not seem such a necessity if you’re getting all this…

Film & Fizz runs 13th January-8th April 2017, with showings on Fridays, Saturdays and occasional Sundays
