Oh January, that month full of promise. With our best intentions we head to the gym, clutching our green smoothies, but sooner or later, temptation wins – it’s an all too familiar cycle. Enter Seedlip, masters of distilled non-alcoholic spirits. They’ll be taking over The Bloomsbury Club Bar for three days in January, hosting a dry January event, keeping that temptation at bay.
Guests will be treated to a dry January cocktail menu, which boasts drinks such as the Espreseedlip Martini, composed of Seedlip-infused coffee, almond milk, cocoa nibs and gomme syrup; and the signature Seedlip and Tonic, composed of Seedlip Spice 94 and tonic water. To accompany, Head Chef of the hotel Peter del Campo will be rustling up some culinary delights like Seedlip garden cured salmon with pickled cucumber, crème fraiche and mint; scallop ceviche with garden pea consommé, sugar snaps and peashoot; and sautéed padron peppers with pink grapefruit, pequillo and balsamic. All to be enjoyed an intimate heated bar space complete with copper stills and floral greens.
Who said January had to be such a struggle?
The pop up will be open at The Bloomsbury Club Bar from 13th – 15th January 2017, 4pm until late
