It’s almost February and you know what that means, Valentine’s Day and if you’re single you’re preparing yourself for the barrage from friends in couples. ‘Your problem is you’re too fussy/you aren’t ready/you aren’t looking properly.’ Great. None of it is particularly helpful.
You’ve exhausted Tinder, you know that the chances of the person you kissed last Saturday at the bar becoming your SO is unlikely and there are no more friends or friends of friends. So now what do you do? That’s where Social Concierge come in and it’s in the name really – they will sort out your single social life with weekly exclusive cocktail parties at venues such as Quaglino’s and Smith and Whistle.
As part of their Valentine’s Day events, which include a party at Goat Chelsea, they are hosting an exclusive event at TRAMP in Mayfair, on the 8th February. They’ll be hosting 60 influential singles from the worlds of fashion, media, TV, sport, music and in true Social Concierge style, a rugby player or two thrown into the mix. Crowd mixologists will be on hand to make introductions and to get everyone talking over cocktails before the party moves downstairs into the Club Room. It’s a chance for the influencers to experience Social Concierge’s matchmaking magic.
This follows on from Social Concierge launching in New York – they are starting with a party at the new FISHBOWL at the Dream Hotel Midtown on Feb 3rd and will now host monthly events including a big Hamptons party in the summer – so let your single pals across the pond know.
And since it is all offline and members only (everyone gets handpicked and vetted) you know that everyone is going to have that je nais se quoi, so no more trawling through blurry photos, making small talk online or meeting catfish. Ideal.
You must be a member to attend Social Concierge’s exclusive events, you can apply for membership via their website.
