MEATliquor has been doing some research, they’ve been delving into our spending patterns and noticed that on the 30th January for the past three years there was a significant spike in the sales of the most calorific items and cocktails sold. Probably because after 30 days of healthy eating and detoxing and after getting so close to the end of January we all decide to just finish a day early – well, we’re only human.
So, this year they’re encouraging it – because what difference does one day really make? Nothing. Head to any MEATliquor and ask to Fall Off the MEATwagon and you’ll be able to choose any burger, fries and the most alcoholic cocktail ‘House Grog’ for just £10 – a rather nice 50% off, so you can still stick to your resolution of spending less in January.
Burgers include the likes of the Bacon Cheeseburger and the Dead Hippie ™ – made from two French’s mustard-fried beef patties, Dead Hippie sauce ™, lettuce, cheese, pickles and minced white onions. Whilst the House Grog is described as a ‘dangerous blend of light and dark rums with a splash of overproof rum shaken with…secret grog mix’.
Safe to say you will quite spectacularly fall off the healthy eating wagon.
The ‘Falling Off the MEATwagon’ package is available all day on the 30 January 2017 at all MEATliquor restaurants nationwide across London, Bristol, Brighton and Leeds – as well as MEATmarket and MEATmission.
