Hopping along to Swingers in the new year are vendors of Sri Lankan cuisine, Hoppers. They’ve swung from strength to strength since their opening in 2015, winning Tatler’s Restaurant of the Year 2016 as well as being awarded the coveted Michelin Bib Gourmand; it is undoubtable they’ll win the hearts of all at Swingers.
Crazy golfers at the venue can choose from a whole range of dishes since Hoppers will be offering up favourites from their Soho home, like the lamb kothu roti, as well as new dishes that have been created exclusively just for the venue, like the Ceylonese black pork kari oothapum with carrot and gotukola sambol, and tomato chutney. The menu takes inspiration from the street food and home style cooking of Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka, bringing to the table exotic flavours galore. Swingers itself boasts 5 bars with all sorts of cocktails on offer and a two story clubhouse with a gin terrace, but if you’re golfing in the afternoon, maybe a coffee from Nude Coffee Roasters might be more favourable.
So grab those gold clubs and get swinging, though, you don’t need to be a pro swinger to score with Hoppers. And, better still, you won’t have to queue…
