Ralph Lauren’s Debut London Bar Opens

Coffee may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Ralph Lauren. Well, little did you know (or maybe you did), Ralph Lauren’s hospitality portfolio is fairly expansive, with restaurants in Chicago, New York, Paris and now…London.

Today sees the opening of Ralph’s Coffee & Bar, a place where the discerning sartorialist can drink coffee and have a cocktail or two before heading into the European flagship store which sits just next door on Regent Street.

It takes direct inspiration from it’s New York sibling, The Polo Bar in Manhattan, which is located on the second floor of the Polo flagship store on Fifth Avenue. The decor is a nod to the equestrian lifestyle synonymous with Ralph Lauren, with it’s saddle leather banquettes, brass-topped bar, dark wood panelling green billiard clothed walls, and artwork – equestrian themed of course.

The menu is a nod to the brand’s American heritage though drinks have also been specially mixed for London; think an Old Fashioned or a Margarita with snacks such as fried olives and nuts. Alternatively, enjoy the finest of coffees, made with organic beans roasted specifically for Ralph Lauren.

We have a feeling it’s going to be very busy come LFW.
