Food and Film With Anjum Anand

Food and Film With Anjum Anand

Monday evening, what are you doing? You have plans? Yes, you do, you have Food and Film at Charlotte Street Hotel. Back for another run, it’ll be starting with TV chef and cookery writer, Anjum Anand – you might recognise her from BBC’s Indian Food Made Easy, which she presented for two series, or you might have one of her seven books.

To celebrate the launch of her new cook book, I Love India – Recipes and Stories from City to Coast, Morning to Midnight, and Past to Present she will be showing her favourite foodie film, The Hundred Foot Journey, a story about the Kadam family who left India for France and opened a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory’s Michelin-starred eatery. Afterwards, in the Oscar restaurant, Anjum will be cooking up a three course Indian feast, with recipes from her new book. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions and get your book signed.

So, there you go, your plans for Monday.

Food & Film with Anjum Anand takes place at the Charlotte Street Hotel on Monday 13th March
