Unpredictable weather in London may have us carrying about umbrellas and sunglasses but, despite the rain, we are revelling in the sunshine; Pergola on the Roof is coming back! From 3rd May, the rooftop of the Television Centre will be transformed to give us Londoners a taste of New York’s The Hamptons.

After an incredible year of success which saw the original Mediterranean-inspired pergola transformed into to a Nordic winter forest, Pergola on the Roof will once again open its doors to the public, this time redesigned to give a taste of the American East Coast. One hundred feet above the West London skyline, Pergola on the Roof will welcome four restaurants and two bars for a long summer of al fresco dining. Foodies will be pleased to know that Patty and Bun will resume their spot on site, with additions including Breddos Tacos, 8 Hoxton Square, and Bonnie Gull spin off, Salt ‘n’ Sauce. Guests will be able to take their pick from the bespoke menus, choosing from delicious burgers and fresh tacos, to seasonal produce and seafood dishes, as well as a British summertime staple; whippy ice cream.

The venue’s bars will run all day and well into the evening, and you won’t have to worry about pesky British downpours with its all-weather protection. Sipping wine on the roof will never have been so fun, with Pergola on the Roof customising the space with thirteen-people day beds, under canopies of palm trees. Who said you need to leave London to go on holiday?

Head to the website, sign up to the visitors’ book and get your first drink free (you are welcome). Bring on summer.

Pergola on the Roof will launch for summer on Wednesday 3rd May until 1st October. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
