Roof East

Warmer temperatures, sunny weather and lighter evenings can only mean it’s time for the return of Roof East! We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of anywhere else in London where you can watch the sunset over the Olympic Park with the city skyline in the backdrop whilst surrounded by crazy golf, rollerblading, hip hop beats, cocktails and street food.

To celebrate its return, the creators of Roof East are putting on a turbo-charged social fun and games club. Last year’s attractions will all still be there but for 2017 it’ll be better than ever. Birdies crazy golf is returning with a refreshed course made up of patience-testing holes, Rooftop Film Club will be showing films with ‘iconic rooftop scenes’; Mary Poppins, The Matrix and Shawshank. However, we’ve been promised that it’s going to be turbo-charged, so 2017 will see Roof East welcoming some new friends. Rooftop Rollers is London’s first rooftop roller disco – think 80s classics playing as you flex some fancy footwork. If rollerblading isn’t your thing, do your best downward dog in some rooftop yoga, or try your hand at hip hop inspired lawn bowls, just grab 5 friends (teams of 6 are recommended) and throw your best shots. London’s first batting experience, Sluggers, will even be on the rooftop to sway away all that stress.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper alfresco rooftop party without some drinks. Award-winning Spirited Mixers will be on hand offering classic and experimental cocktails to prove why Roof East is one of the best rooftop bars in London this summer… Looks like we’re heading east, then.

The Social Fun and Games Club at Roof East, Stratford launches Thursday 4th May
