José Pizarro Opens Tiny Tapas Bar

We all know not to be fooled by the size of something and that size isn’t everything (unless it’s money, then you can keep adding the zeros) so even though José Pizarro’s new restaurant is going to be a tiny tapas bar, we know it’s going to be mighty.

Opening in Canary Wharf, Little José is José Pizarro’s fourth restaurant and will be part of Street Feast at their brand new venue, Giant Robot (yes, that’s actually the name), in Crossrail Place. His sell-out spicy prawn fritters with lime mayo will be back, along with sides dishes of patatas bravas, Padrón peppers and a daily changing tortilla. Other bites will include Ibérico pork meatball sub with manchego and crispy fried squid boca with aioli. To drink there’ll be cava, wines, sherries and the perfect G&T.

This new Street Feast is the first one to be open seven days a week, it’ll feature a huge wrap-around outdoor terrace giving panoramic views of Canary Wharf and will be home to Yum Bun, a 360° Island Bar, Bob’s Lobster and ThunderBird a new one-stop chicken shop from the kings of wings BBQ Lab.

City workers, get ready to eat!
