Calling all fried chicken lovers… We have something for your bucket list. Quite literally.
Trade in your bargain bucket for the real deal, as KERB are about to put on two days of fried chicken heaven, just behind Kings Cross station. If anyone can pull it off, it’s KERB, so expect to find London’s top fried chicken connoisseurs, all in one place, mojitos from Barcardi’s bar and craft beer by Beavertown, music by Maraichi El Pinche Grino and a house-party DJ until late. We would say cue the hangover but the fried chicken will sort you out.
Begin at Mother Clucker, for tea-brined buttermilk Cajun chicken strips, before you hop on over to Other Side Fried for some cocoa chilli and maple fillets with coriander mayo. Only Jerkin will be serving up their ginger beer battered jerk (or mango nuggets for those that don’t eat chicken). Next, it will be a moment of Bill or Break with Szechuan miso tenders in a fermented green chilli. Daja Chicken will be serving up their double coated and double fried Asian tenders before Killa Dilla turns up the heat with their chipotle salt and crushed chilli heatwave tortilla chips. The list doesn’t stop there; head to Mother Flipper for some Korean spicy wings and end the adventure with some succulent fried pieces in a guava glaze and habenro mayo from Petare.
The rules are simple: sign up, collect a portion of fried chicken from each of the bucket list traders (that’s 8 portions) and once you’ve tried them all, vote for your favourite. The Bucket List Wall of Fame is serious business.
Head over to West Handyside Canopy, Kings Cross on 5th and 6th of May to participate on the Ultimate Fried Chicken Adventure
