Meatopia is on the horizon, just the other side of summer and as the name suggests, it’s three days of meat from some of the biggest and best-loved chefs from London, the UK and around the world and they’ve just announced the line-up.

Cooking for the first time will be the likes of Mark Hix, Gill Mellor from River Cottage, Ross Clarke of Tandoor Chop House, Stephen Hinkley from MeatUp and Nud Dudhia from Breddos Tacos. Flying in from around the world, you’ll have Nate Green of Rhoda in Hong Kong, Ashley Heeger of Ash in Cape Town, Angie Mar of The Beatrice Inn in NYC and Matti Hurttia of Ruka Tonttu in Finland.

Chefs from the UK include Todd Francis of The Ox in Bristol, James Whetlor from Cabrito in Devon and Romy Gill of Romy’s Kitchen, Thornbury. Returning to the festival as Meatopia veterans are the likes of Jose Pizarro, Niall Davidson, Joe Grossmann of Patty & Bun, Roberto Castro of Lobos and Zan Kaufman of Bleecker Burger.

In a Meatopia first, they’ll have Nathan Outlaw solely cooking fish and Yotam Ottolenghi just cooking up vegetables – so if for some unknown reason you’re going to a meat festival and don’t want to eat meat, there are other options.
