This month, Brown’s hotel is celebrating spring by creating a secret English garden in the heart of Mayfair and we have a feeling it’s going to be the place to be seen this season.
Bringing the English countryside to the centre of London, resident florist Ellie Hartley will be dressing The Library with peonies, sweet peas, lilacs and English country roses. They’ll also be making the most of edible flowers with dishes such as marinated Manx scallops adorned with cucumber flowers; blackcurrant and hibiscus tea and cocktails garnished with flowers and flavoured with violet, dandelion, lemongrass and rose.
On the 16th May, Ellie Hartley will be hosting an evening of Ruinart Champagne tasting alongside a floral masterclass, where you’ll be able to try plenty of Champagne and take a bouquet home too – flowers and Champagne on a Tuesday, sounds rather wonderful to us.
The Secret English Garden at Brown’s Hotel will run throughout May
