The general election might be heating up (remember to vote, everyone!) but there is still one question which has been debated amongst Londoners for years. Which is better; East or West?
Westfield seems to have found mutual ground when it comes to choosing which side of London to hang out this summer. This June, the Food Truck Festival will be pulling up at both the White City (1st – 4th June) and Stratford (22nd – 25th June) shopping centres as part of the highly anticipated London Food Month.
The four day long events will showcase the best food served on four wheels based in the city, featuring Indian Street Kitchen, Hola Guacamole, Elephant Juice and Yorica, including cooking and mixology classes hosted by top chefs and bartenders. Restaurants located in both Westfields will also be joining the festivities with exclusive offers and seasonal dishes for guests to sample.
To round off a weekend of being well fed and watered (and a mini shopping spree wouldn’t hurt either), head over to the newest outdoor cinema, Westfield Open Air Cinema. Sit back and relax in the stunning grounds of Kensington Palace to watch live acoustic performances before settling down to watch silver screen classics such as Back to the Future and Notting Hill to family favourites like Tangled and Toy Story 2. If you aren’t feeling a cosy film night, London Food Month’s Night Market is based in the same location, with up to 50 stalls for ultimate foodies and midnight feast lovers to indulge in.
Sure London is a big place with unique niches, but when food and films can be found in all one place, we find that very hard to resist – no matter the location.
