Admit it as you watch Lewis/Luther/Miss Marple/Silent Witness (delete as applicable) you think that you could be a detective, you of course guessed who did it, long before the others had a clue. So, put your skills to the test (and your money where your mouth is, because you can’t just be all talk) by heading to Quaglino’s for their murder mystery evenings.
First up will be the mystery of the Blue Majesty –a diamond of 3,000 carats has been unearthed in an African mine and it’s going to give more than 1,000 diamonds. As you can imagine the shareholders are beside themselves, including a certain Fenton Booth, the classic aristocrat, high on breeding and class but low on cash. The diamond could be the answer to all his problems, that is if the renowned diamond thief doesn’t get there first.
If you were more in the Cluedo camp rather than the Monopoly camp then you’ll want to join them for Clue D’Oh, their tribute to the classic board game. You’ll be a guest of Dr Black, the famed scientist. Joining you will be the dashing Captain Brown; the mysterious Ruby Scarlett, Reverend Green, Dr Black’s niece Rayne Brown and Sherrie White, the loyal cook and housekeeper, a nice motley crew. Or so you’d think… because suddenly Dr Black’s body is found in the woodland and DI Willie Catchem, knows this isn’t a suicide case.
Time to grab your deerstalker and practise your Poirot shuffle – it’s a good old case of British WhoDunnit!
The Blue Mystery takes place on the 19th July 2017 and Cluedo on the 23rd August 2017. Tickets for this event are £50 per person and include sparkling wine on arrival, three course dinner and murder mystery game. Places for this event are extremely limited.
