Last weekend we saw the success of the UK’s first ever Rosé Festival at The Geffrye Museum. Well instead of just a weekend dedicated to London’s favourite tipple, how about a whole month? And why not dedicate it not only to rosé, but also everything else we love that is pink? Londoners will be encouraged to Think Pink over the course of August as our favourite restaurants get involved all in aid of The Pink Ribbon Charity.
Avenue in St James’s and Aster in Victoria will be serving a bottomless rosé brunch throughout the month with pink themed food to match too, we’re talking lobster mac and cheese and eggs royale. Whilst Old Bengal Warehouse will be serving their spin on a pink themed brunch at Fish Market which will be accompanied by, yes you’ve guessed it, rosé too. Bluebird Chelsea will be serving a pink themed afternoon tea too complete with cupcakes with rose petal icing, mini raspberry panna cotta and jelly and pink macaroons to be enjoyed with Provençal Rosé.
In case you haven’t had enough rosé by this point, Avenue and Le Pont de la Tour’s riverside wine cellar will be holding rosé tasting sessions. They’ll be hosted by best guys in the business too with award-winning Sommelier Agustin Trapero and Winemaker Pierre Duffort. If you’ve missed out on a summer holiday this year you won’t have to look any further than Central London as Coq d’Argent is bringing St-Tropez’s Le Club 55 to us. There will be free flowing rosé and seafood canapés that’ll send us right to the French Riviera on 20th August.
Think Pink is on now and will continue until 20th August.
