Tiny Tails: The Micro Pig Pop-Up

The ultimate millennial goal of being able to take a selfie with a miniature pig, sure to get you a plethora of social media likes, is about to become a reality. Hogwash, I hear you yell! But for one day only Tiny Tails will be allowing animal friendly attendees to get up close and personal with our precious porcine pals. The event will take place 27th July from 12-2pm as part of Merchant Square’s ‘Summer of Fun’; a series of free events and activities this summer.

On the day there will also be opportunities to play with rabbits on the lawn but this isn’t just for self-indulgent fun. Studies have shown that petting animals can reduce stress levels and boost productivity in the work place so Tiny Tails is putting this idea to the test as workers flock from far and wide to inject some cuteness into their lunchbreak.

Local restaurants KuPP, M&S Café and Lockhouse will be open offering delicious lunch options as well as the brand new Floating Pocket Park which is ideal for picnics. Other events to keep an eye out for at Merchant Square include live screenings of sporting events such as Wimbledon, a pamper day, live music and fitness activities.

Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has now been cancelled, but we will keep you updated.
