We’ve just told you about the Playground for Adults coming to Hackney this weekend and we are already looking forward to the next nostalgic activity for Londoners this summer – the world’s largest bouncy castle.
Actually calling it a bouncy castle is a bit of an injustice, it’s actually an inflatable obstacle course (just doesn’t have the same ring to it), better known as ‘The Beast’ and it will be taking over Alexandra Palace on the August Bank holiday weekend (Friday 25th August – Monday 28th August, we’ve already got it in the diary). At 272 metres long, it will be open from 10am – 11pm with morning sessions for kids and then the adults will come out to play with 15 minute sessions later on. The adult sessions might be a little bit different though, a mixture of prosecco on tap and craft beer with 32 obstacle courses is sure to make the adults more irresponsible than the kids.
There will also be some of London’s favourite street vendors in attendance too. We’ve recently named them ‘London’s Best Chips’, so it was only appropriate that Saucy Chip come along to serve up their festival favourites to the hungry adults. The organisers have named their tacos the best this side of Mexico City so what better than Taco Revolution to serve up the best Mexican food in London down at The London Riviera too. You won’t need a ticket for this area, so you can come and enjoy the food, listen to the live DJ’s or simply laugh at your friends inevitably fall over.
The Beast is at Alexandra Palace from Friday 25th August – Monday 28th August
