Kitchen Royalty Head To Texture This September

Kitchen Royalty Head To Texture This September

‘Texture, Texture, read all about it!’ Michelin-starred restaurant Texture has reached its tenth birthday and to celebrate they’re hosting a series of collaborations with top chefs, pairing Texture’s Chef Patron and owner Aggi Sverrisson with a series of leading chefs including Raymond Blanc and Ollie Dabbous.

This fantastic series kicks off with kitchen heavyweight Raymond Blanc for a one-off dinner on 5th September. The menu will include nods toward Blanc’s passion for seasonal produce including ingredients grown in Belmond le Manor aux Quat’Saison’s famous kitchen garden. Aggi will be providing Scottish salmon and Norwegian king crab. Following quickly on Vivek Singh will be joining Sverrisson on the 7th, taking a night off at his usual home over at The Cinnamon Collection to bring canapes including lamb seekh kebab while the pair will produce a dish of Scottish red grouse. On the 19th September Aggi will be partnered up with Arnaud Bignon, from The Greenhouse and Michelin-awarded Ollie Dabbous will cook up an impressive six-course menu including Dorset crab, curry, Icelandic langoustines and salmon tartare. Finally on the 28th September Aggi will collaborate with Gaia Gaja for a special wine dinner pairing four Gaja vintages with five courses and canapés.

As birthday celebrations go this definitely beats pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey…
