Christmas baubles and disco balls, turning the shopping experience you dread, into a party you’ll remember.
Not all of us love Christmas shopping, and many of us are left battling desperate crowds on Christmas eve trying to convince ourselves that a shoe horn is an acceptable present for Aunt Betty, because it’s the only thing left on the shelf.
This year on November 9th the Carnaby Christmas Carnival launches their brand-new Christmas installations. Though it starts at 5pm be sure to be there for 6pm to avoid missing the turning on of the Christmas lights.
Over one hundred brands will be opening their doors, and enticing customers off the streets with twenty percent discounts. Well known favourites such as Skinnydip, Brandy Melville, Cheap Monday, OFFICE, The Kooples, Replay, Scotch & Soda, The North Face, Pepe Jeans London, True Religion, VANS, Size?, will all be taking part. Not to mention the new addition to Carnaby street a three floor Sweaty Betty flagship.
Why not pop in to the Lazy Oaf, and check out their new capsule collection, peruse the quirky clothing, sip on a drink or two and experience the exciting in-store installation. We could divulge the anticipated details but where’s the fun in that?
The Notting Hill Carnival legend DJ Norman Jay MBE, will be manning the decks and providing the soundtrack to your evening. There will be street entertainers, live music, and of course food to fuel your evening. Whether you’ve got blisters from dancing or racing around the shops, there will be plenty of space and plenty of places to rest your weary feet, with over sixty bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
So it’s time to get organised and think ahead. Perhaps this year Aunt Betty will get a present she actually wants, and you can dance and be merry whilst hunting for it.
The Carnaby Christmas Festival, Thursday 9th November 5 – 9pm.
