Cheese Connoisseurs, The Cheese Bar, Launch Fondue Thursdays

Cheese Connoisseurs, The Cheese Bar, Launch Fondue Thursdays

The Cheese Bar won our affections instantaneously with their grilled cheese sandwiches, but now, well now they’ve just gone and made us swoon all over again. Why? Because this month they are launching Fondue Thursdays. Yep, they’re bringing a taste of The Alps to Camden Market with a little help from their friends STAUB (the cast iron specialists).

Each week you’ll be able to choose from a four cheese and white wine fondue or a Young Buck, blue cheese fondue made with cider and kirsch; both made with The Cheese Bar’s signature British cheeses. To dip, you’ll find: crisp truffled roast potatoes, deep fried Brussel sprouts, pigs in blankets and plenty of fresh baguette. For pudding, there’s apple strudel with mascarpone ice cream from La Gelateria. Wash it down with Alpine wines from Les Cave de Pyrene and Kirsch cherry brandy.

Forget that we’re entering into the darker months, that you’re heating is probably going to break just when you need it, that everyone around you is sneezing and instead gorge yourself silly on the cheese. Sounds like a plan.

Book a table of six or more for your Christmas Party and you can have fondue Monday – Sunday.
