Not as painful as a bullet wound, and not as dangerous as an ill-timed tequila shot.
No, no these shots are better than that, but, maybe not quite as effective as a flu jab.
As you may know Selfridges has launched their #EatHappy campaign which means they are entering into all sorts of healthy collaborations, and little stalls are popping up all over the place in their food hall. The next to be revealed is the Farmacy Shot Bar. The restaurant that is famous for its plant based dishes and serves food without refined sugars, additives, and chemicals.
To the cynics out there I have it on good authority that they aren’t just serving air and water but shots of rejuvenating juice.
Each shot has its own unique blend of organic proteins and…ok, enough, it doesn’t matter. I could reel off the long list of healthy and complicated ingredients, but I know that no one is actually going to stop to hear it or even care. So long as this shot promises to cure our hangovers, make us more beautiful, give us more energy etc, we are hardly going to say no, let alone, wait to hear the long list of ingredients that we don’t understand.
In short, if you find yourself trawling round the shops, slowly deflating under the weight of your shopping bags (aka all the things you can’t afford but buy anyway just to make January more bearable) and you need a pick me up, then look no further than the Farmacy Shot Bar in the Selfridges Food Hall.
